upwin is for freelancers on Upwork who want to send each proposal themselves. It reviews your profile against the goal you choose, checks how well a project fits you before you spend Connects, and helps you prepare a proposal that you edit and send.

Vollna is for freelancers and agencies. Every plan includes project alerts. Automated proposal sending comes with its Auto-Bidding plans. On its other plans, you send each proposal yourself.

upwin is not the right tool for every freelancer. Another tool may fit you better if:

• You want proposals sent for you. upwin never sends anything. GigRadar and Upwex offer automated proposal sending, and Vollna offers it on its Auto-Bidding plans.
• You want to hear about new projects as soon as they are posted. upwin has no project alerts. GigRadar, Upwex and Vollna all offer them.
• You run an agency and send proposals from an agency profile. GigRadar is built for agencies, and Upwex and Vollna both have agency options.
